The Master of Science program in Biostatistics has been established in 2007 in the Health Science Institute but due to the lack of enough faculty members in the department, the program is suspended for a while.

However, Biostatistics courses are still given for students of Health Science Institute. 

First graduates of Master of Science program has been graduated in 2009. The department has three graduates, which of two are academicians.
